Welcome to NTReTA's first ever professional learning event! Jasmine Parasiers from the Association of Secondary Research Teachers (in South Australia) will be presenting the first of four workshops on the Research Project question and folio. We know many of you will be well advanced in this space, but it will allow you to clarify anything and to ask questions. The session will cover:

• What makes a good research question
• How to develop authentic records of refinement
• Encouraging good research practices
• How to document research without the folio becoming formulaic
• Enhancing the analysis and skills criteria of the folio
• How to discuss capabilities in an authentic manner
